Rachael White
For as long as she can remember, Rachael has been passionate about children. She chose to become an Early Childhood Educator because of her desire to support children as they learn, grow and explore the world around them. Rachael has completed the course work required to be an Early Childhood Educator with a specialization in Infant Toddler and Special Needs, giving her a thorough understanding of a child’s development.
Rachael’s favorite part about being an educator is watching children learn and grow through play. She enjoys creating engaging, play-based experiences where children can explore their interests, build confidence, and develop new skills. Rachael is fun! She LOVES exploring painting and active play with the children. The messier the better!
Rachael brings a patient and creative approach to her work and focuses on facilitating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to be themselves. She believes that every child is capable, unique, and deserving of a caring environment where they can learn, grow and succeed at their own pace.
Rachael has tons of experience caring for her many nieces and nephews. She has also gained valuable experience from many short-term work placements and practicums within several licenced daycare facilities in Victoria. In all environments, Rachael develops strong connections with the children in her care and understands and meet their individual needs with ease. She values building positive relationships and takes pride in supporting each child’s unique development.
In her free time Rachael enjoys exploring the outdoors, painting and drawing. She is delighted to be working at Leap Forward Childcare, her very first placement as a full-time ECEIT!
