Gunjan Jandha

Gunjan was born and raised in India, where she spent her early years developing a strong sense of culture, community, and curiosity about the world around her.

After completing her secondary education in 2021, she moved to Canada in 2021 in pursuit of greater educational and professional opportunities. She enrolled at Humber College in Toronto, where she successfully completed her ECE diploma. After graduating, she relocated to Victoria in 2023, a place she now calls home.

Gunjan chose to work with children because of her genuine love for interacting with them. She finds joy in talking, playing, and listening to their imaginative stories, which inspire her daily. Her passion lies in nurturing and shaping young minds, helping children feel supported and valued. She is committed to creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels a sense of belonging.

Outside of her professional life, Gunjan enjoys a variety of activities that bring her balance and happiness. She loves travelling and exploring new places, as it allows her to experience different cultures and perspectives. One of her favorite ways to unwind is by going on long drives during sunset, where she finds peace, reflection, and inspiration.

As a dedicated and enthusiastic educator, Gunjan is eager to continue learning and growing in her profession. She looks forward to gaining valuable hands-on experience while working with the Leap Forward team . .
