Tammy Osland

Tammy Osland is one very happy, bubbly, creative, “down to earth” woman! Her decade plus experience as a licence educator along with being the mother of two children, allows her to easily connect with the children she cares for, their families and all her co-workers. Her boss thinks she is something special too! Tammy is a problem-solving master like no other, can be found laughing when most would be crying, and is always looking on the bright side, creatively thinking “outside the box”.

EVERYONE loves Tammy.

Tammy believes the early years are a time to nurture a child’s natural born desire to learn. She enjoys facilitating activities that support this critical time such as circle time, singing, music, dancing, art, dramatic play, outside adventures etc. Tammy has endless energy! Aware that children learn best through active participation and hands on exploration of the world around them, everything from messy painting to jumping in the rain puddles is a go with Tammy.

Tammy finds working with children and their families very rewarding. She feels fortunate every day for her role as an early childhood educator. Building relationships with everyone around her is one of Tammy main strengths and she is grateful to have the opportunity to share this with Leap Forward Childcare.

In her free time Tammy take exercise classes at the YMCA, enjoys hiking, and going for walks with her husband and daughters and laughing, a lot…..more than most.
