Suyeong Seok

Suyeong was born and raised in South Korea. She earned a degree in Home Economics with a major in Child & Family, which sparked her passion for nurturing young minds. After university, she spent three years working in a kindergarten in Korea, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience. In 2019, Suyeong moved to British Columbia, captivated by its beauty and the opportunities it offered.

Suyeong is one VERY accomplished individual! In addition to a Home Economics degree, she holds certifications in ECE, ITE, and SNE, demonstrating her strong dedication to early childhood education.

Before joining Leaf Forward Childcare, she worked at various daycare centers, continually expanding her knowledge and understanding of young children’s needs. Drawn to the welcoming community of Langford and sensing an immediate connection from day one with Leap Forward Childcare, Suyeong chose to continue her career surrounded by others who share her desire to make this world the very best place it can be. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the children, their families and her fellow educators of Leap Forward Childcare.

Suyeong is known for her gentle and kind nature. Though she can be a bit reserved at times, her love for children shines through in all that she does. She eagerly looks forward to creating joyful, memorable experiences with the little ones in her care, whom she sees as inspiring little angels.

In her free time, Suyeong enjoys camping, exploring the outdoors, and relaxing by the ocean with a cup of coffee, listening to the soothing sound of the waves. She values the balance between work and personal life, finding renewal in nature.
