Angela Tomlinson

Angela has been caring for children since she was 12 years old. First for her nieces and nephews and then babysitting for families within her community. Angela also volunteered at after school care clubs when she was in high school. In her early twenties Angela enjoyed several opportunities as a Nanny for families requiring reliable, nurturing care for the little ones. For as long as Angela can remember, people told her she was “very good with children” and should “make a career out of it”. They were right!

In 2018 she started her journey working within daycare centers and loved every minute of it. She knew this was her calling, to care for young children in a supportive environment surrounded by other educators that love children as much as she does. Angela enjoys caring for the littlest of little ones, but she LOVES working with all ages equally because there's no better reward than helping children through their developmental milestones and watching them succeed and grow!

Angela’s initial position at Leap Forward Childcare was as a practicum student. She is now a beloved member of the Leap Forward Childcare family.

When Angela is not at daycare leading circle time, facilitating art activities and hosting pre-school dance parties, she enjoys getting out within nature. She loves going for walks, visiting with family and friends, baking, and hanging out with her cat, Shylo. Those who know Angela well say she is very down to earth, outgoing, friendly, caring, reliable, and someone they can trust.
