Adelaide Gariepy

Bonjour from Adelaide! Adelaide says you can call her Addie for short. She comes from a family of two brothers and one sister with yes, you guessed it, a French speaking background! Addie is an animal lover and a nature seeker with a HUGE heart. She has a soft spot for dogs, the outdoors and of course children.

Addie has a certificate in early childhood education and has enjoyed working in a few different centres right here in Victoria, all excellent experiences. From 2022 to 2024 she taught at Leap Forward Childcare within both the Infant Toddler Program and the Pre-School Program. She left for a brief period to pursue her interest in safety and heavy machinery and the construction industry, becoming an occupational first aid level two construction safety officer. Addie plans to attend BCIT in Vancouver in the future to become a certified Construction Site Officer.

Those who know Addie best say she is hard working, gentle, patient, empathetic and just an all-round awesome person. She brings with her a heart of gold, a witty sense of humour and of course her toolbox!

Addie is so pleased to be returning to Leap Forward Childcare, teaching again within the Infant Toddler Program and the Pre-School Program. She looks forward to fixing broken baby gates, and installing extra shelving, while caring for all the littles of Leap Forward Childcare and getting to know their families.
